　　梁启超先生说得好，国家的未来靠年轻一代，年轻人永远是最敏锐、最勇敢的。这正如鲁迅先生所说的：“青年应当有朝气，敢做为”。从伟大的“五四”爱国运动起，青年就站在爱国的前沿，当时，北京和各地爱国学生为了维护国家民族挺身而出，肩负者“反帝、反封建”的伟大任务，与工人阶级一起，在共产党的领导下，取得了这次运动的光辉胜利。凭着一股力量，学生们首先站了起来;凭着一股力量，他们勇敢地游行示威不怕军警的镇压和逮捕。这股力量，是从筋骨里迸出来;血液里激出来;性灵里跳出来;生命里震荡出来的真纯而可贵的爱国思想。这股力量是多么伟大啊!在它的面前，人的爱生之念，畏苦之情，算得了什么呢?在那个黑暗践踏着光明的旧社会，面对着帝国主义侵略者疯狂的侵略行为;面对着军阀政府可悲的卖国行为;面对着武装军警可怕的镇压和逮捕，北京的爱国大学生们——这些进步的知识分子，毅然勇敢地站了起来，“爱国高于一切1这是肖邦说过的话，这一点在北京学生身上充分体现了出来，他们用自己尚还稚嫩的血肉的胸膛，迎向了北洋军阀那闪亮的刺刀。中国现代女作家、翻译家冰心说过：“一个人只要热爱自己的祖国，有一颗爱国之心，就什么事情都能解决，什么苦楚，什么冤屈都受得了。”北京学生不正是这样吗?那种视死如归、毫不退缩的可贵精神，不正是来自那颗炽热火红的爱国心吗?

　　真正的爱党和爱国不应该仅仅表现在漂亮的言辞中，而是应该表现在为祖国、为人民谋福利的行动中。我们作为新一代的青少年，又该怎样去做呢?

　　有人说，19世纪是英国人的世纪，20世纪是美国人的世纪，而21世纪，就是我们中国人的世纪，“远去足音凝重，再创辉煌更撼心1中国经过几十年来的艰苦建设，已取得了“乘长风，破万里浪”的迅猛发展。但我们不要忘记，我们仍然是个发展中国家，还有许许多多地方有待完善和发展，要想国家富强，就必须继续努力;而希望，就寄予在我们这一代人的身上。我们就该努力学习，树立远大的抱负和理想，将来有所作为，报效祖国。

　　而另一方面，我们还要崇尚科学，坚持真理，与邪恶作斗争。邪教“#”的学员在天安门前公开自焚的惨剧，让我们悲叹不已。当中，更有前途无限的大学生和小学生，更令我们震惊。而现在，穷途末路的“#”已成为西方敌对势力的反华工具，是毒害社会的瘟疫，是扰乱社会的浊流。我们作为学生，更应该认清“#”的危害性，讲科学，树理想，用科学的人生观筑起防线，勇敢地对“#”展开无情的批判!

　　让我们用知识加汗水，以满腔热情，拥抱新希望，迎接这个机遇与挑战并存的21世纪吧!

　　是的，责任放在我们每个青年的肩上，放眼新世纪，振兴中华，建设家乡，我们是不会退缩的。

　　历史长河浪淘沙，送走了多少岁月;时代画卷，波澜壮阔，记载了无数英杰。今天，就让我们望岁月峰头，伴历史云烟，循火红足迹，踏坎坷征程，一起回望__年前的五四爱国运动。

　　1919年5月4日，为了驱散笼罩在神州大地的阴云，为了祖国的独立和自由。北京三所高校的3000多名学生代表冲破军警的阻挠，云集天安门，他们打出“誓死力争，还我青岛”“拒绝在巴黎和会上签字”“废除二十一条”等口号。也许你会问，是什么让他们面对帝国主义疯狂的侵略行为，面对武装力量的镇压和逮捕，表现得如此的勇敢呢?是爱国精神，是从血液里激出来，从心灵里跳出来，从生命里震荡出来的爱国精神。

　　无论是贫穷落后的封建社会，还是日新月异的崭新时代，到处都闪现着华夏儿女的爱国之情。少年智则国智，少年强则国强，少年独立则国独立，少年进步则国进步，少年胜于欧洲则国胜于欧洲，少年雄于地球则国雄于地球!五四的火炬已经传到我们手中，让我们用智慧和勇气扬起理想的风帆，用知识和汗水以满腔的爱国之情，拥抱新希望，迎接这个挑战与机遇并存的21世纪吧!
