　　有人说，19世纪是英国人的世纪，20世纪是美国人的世纪，而21世纪，就是我们中国人的世纪，中国经过几十年来的艰苦建设，已取得了“乘长风，破万里浪”的迅猛发展，但是我们不要忘记，我们仍然是个发展中的国家，还有许许多多地方有待完善与发展，要想国家富强，就必须努力，而希望就寄予在我们这一代人身上。

　　在二十世纪，中华民族前进的道路上，中国共青团留下了英勇奋斗的足迹，做出了无愧于历史的贡献。二十一世纪是一个充满希望和挑战的世纪，中国共青团，将以新的面貌，面向新世纪，以新的作为开创新的事业，在中华民族振兴史上继续谱写光辉的篇章。

　　我们缅怀“五四”先驱们的业绩，回顾中国人民与青年在整个世纪，走过的历程，作为当代青年团员应当秉承民族精神，高举“五四”火炬，肩负时代责任，让我们用知识加汗水，以满腔热情，去开拓、去创造、去拥抱新希望，来迎接这个机遇与挑战并存的世纪吧。

　　怎样让自己更快乐呢?九年级的同学学过议论文《最苦与最乐》，梁启超说：“尽得大的责任，就得大快乐;尽得小的责任，就得小快乐。你若是要躲(避责任)，倒是自投苦海，永远不能解除了。”

　　国家设立“五四”青年节，除了希望大家能尽到自己最基本的责任，好好学习，健康成长之外，更重要的是希望当代和未来的青年人铭记历史，继承我们中国青年与众不同的五四精神，珍惜先辈用青春和生命创设的环境，从而把国家建设得更加美好。这就是我们所有青年人需要担起和尽到的最大责任，也是我们获得最大快乐的源泉。从1920xx年五四运动以来的青年人都自觉地履行着这个责任，收获着灿烂的人生。他们在民族遭受屈辱的时刻挺身而出，在血与火的残酷斗争中，敢于直面惨淡的人生，敢于正视淋漓的鲜血;他们在国家建设之时，响应号召，为中华崛起而读书，上山下乡，敢于直面曲折的人生，敢于正视痛苦的现实。他们用燃烧的激情和鲜血凝聚成精神的火炬，点燃了未来。这种青春是多么的绚丽夺目，这种使命感是多么的震撼人心!想到他们，我们怎能不热血沸腾!不铭记自己的责任!
